First of all, I must say that it's incredibly difficult to find an appropriate blog name because most of the names I wanted to use have been taken up. I picked "quaque hora" because a) it's easier to get a blog name using Latin, I think; b) it means "every hour", increasingly I've realized the importance of making every hour in your life counts.
I've started blogging when I came here to Singapore 4 and a half years ago, marking the new phase of my life as an undergraduate in a new country not too faraway from my own but it kind of fizzled out (obviously the blog, not my life). Life can be mundane and unexciting (for most part of it) and it just takes too much effort sometimes to make it sound livelier that it really is. But then again, I guess that is why I decided to blog again. Perhaps to be able to capture those moments in my life that are beyond the "mundane and unexciting" like photographic snapshots in words. Or even noting down the "mundane and unexciting" moments. I guess life is how much you make it out to be.
After all, I am at the advent of my career. Perhaps I may end up the next most sought after senior counsel. Or an inconsequential solicitor in Chinatown. Perhaps I may end up leaving the legal fraternity. But whatever will be, will be and only God knows the future. I just hope I can make everyday counts and every hour worth living for.
